Beeches Course

The Beeches Course – 5765yds Par 69

This course offers a fantastic blend of some of the original holes constructed in 1991 and some of the holes opened in 2008 on the Kigbeare estate. Over the last couple of years, improvements have been made to the greens and to the drainage on the course. Some holes have been changed with new tee blocks being constructed; this has altered the shape, increased the length and vastly improved the hole. Nearly 1000 trees have been re-located around the course, which has added maturity to it. The course is considered by many as the most picturesque of our courses, with stunning vistas towards Dartmoor and with views across the Kigbeare, Forest and Ashbury courses.

Signature Hole

Beeches 12th – 177yds Par 3 – A classic hole with stunning views across to Dartmoor. From the tee, crafted man-made mounds flank the hole, with the green framed in the middle. There is a stunning backdrop of Dartmoor with ‘Sourton Tor’ and ‘Yes Tor’ (the second highest point of Dartmoor) visible. From the tee as well as having views across the Kigbeare course, there are also views of rolling Devon countryside.
